Healing in Blaichach (2024)

Searching for who I am, I long to connect with myself, my surroundings, my daughter, and my deceased father. The eternally flowing river, with its primeval rocks, and the mysterious forest guide me on this journey. In this sacred space, I find the past, present, and future intertwined.

Yet, I feel the fear of losing the beautiful things in life. The duality of existence is intense when you allow yourself to truly experience it—life and death, joy and sorrow; everything is a cycle. Through it all, I realize that I am part of nature, rooted in this interconnectedness.

Analog photographs made during a mother/child health care trip (Mütter/Kind Kur) in Blaichach, Germany, with the camera my father gave me more than twenty years ago.
