BODY (2019-2022)
Since the rise of the internet and social media ‘the body’ has become a topic even more complex and layered than ever. With the project ‘BODY’ I like to reflect on this fact by making collages of my own pregnant and postpartum body and I combined these images with vintage postcards, found photos, different paper materials and acrylic paint. With this series I am looking for ways to show my personal process of accepting a changing and aging body, how to deal with this real fact which is a process we should not be ashamed of or hide from society, it is part of life.
