The collage series ‘The Faraway World’ is created with a longing for traveling the world during the Corona pandemic and at the same time commenting the severe changes our natural environment has made due to us maltreating her.
By applying 24 carat gold leaf to the almost 100 year old photogravure collages of different landscapes in the world, I want to heal, connect and make people aware of the severely changing natural environment in the world.
A selection of this series will be exhibited at the group show ‘Kaleidoskop’ at the ‘Frauenmuseum’ Wiesbaden March 2023. The series was published in Contemporary Collage Magazine and ZINE Berlin Collage Platform
